About Nelly
Jambo! I am Nelly from Nairobi, Kenya. I am a native Swahili speaker and I love teaching my language and culture to foreigners. I have helped many expats and visitors learn to speak like a real local, not just from books. I am friendly, very patient, and I make lessons fun and easy. I enjoy languages, music, and meeting new people from different countries. I want to help you speak Swahili confidently in everyday life. Karibu sana!

My lessons are focused on real speaking from day one. I teach authentic Swahili and Nairobi Sheng that people actually use in the market, matatu, and with friends. No boring textbooks. We practice daily greetings, bargaining, ordering food, and casual conversation. I am patient, friendly, and I give you notes and voice recordings after every lesson so you can practice. First 15 minutes trial is free to see if you like my style. Karibu!
