As the leading subject teacher, I am experienced in formulating effective teaching resources that complies to exam specifications. Alongside this, I have years of experience in delivery of curriculum in an ethical and creative manner, with inclusivity and diversity in the forefront. I demonstrate strong rapport building skills with students to establish trusting relationships. As the leading subject teacher for Politics and Religious Studies (RS), I have extensive experience in creating effective teaching resources that align with exam specifications. With years of experience, I deliver the curriculum in an ethical and creative manner, always prioritizing inclusivity and diversity.
I currently manage the Politics and RS department, achieving the best results in 2024 for RS within the Humanities and English department. As the sole RS teacher, this accomplishment reflects the high standard of teaching and the exceptional quality of resources I provide. In October 2023, my subject underwent an Ofsted deep dive, resulting in my college being rated as 'GOOD,' with positive feedback on the A-level History and Politics courses.
Additionally, I am an experienced exam board examiner for A-level RS, giving me a deep understanding of exam expectations. Having tutored many students privately, I am currently guiding RS students up to their exams, offering tailored, high-quality support.
