About Lindsey
Hi, I'm Lindsey, an RE teacher in a Catholic secondary school and I genuinely love what I teach. I believe Religious Education gives students the opportunity to explore some of life's biggest questions while developing the critical thinking skills needed to understand and navigate the world around them.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to you. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing your ideas, and challenging your thinking. Whether you're struggling with a topic, preparing for exams, or aiming for the highest grades, I'm here to help you build confidence and deepen your understanding.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies and have experience supporting students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. My goal is not just to help you succeed in RE, but to help you enjoy the subject and see its relevance beyond the classroom.

I genuinely love what I teach, and I believe Religious Education is one of the most valuable subjects a young person can study. RE is about much more than learning facts about religions and beliefs; it helps students develop critical thinking, empathy, ethical awareness, and the ability to understand and navigate the world around them.
As an RE teacher in a Catholic secondary school, I enjoy helping students explore big questions about life, morality, identity, and society. My aim is to make lessons engaging, thought-provoking, and relevant, showing students how the skills they develop in RE can be applied far beyond the classroom.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles. Whether a student is aiming for top GCSE grades, needs support building confidence, or simply wants help understanding a topic, I create a positive and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas.
My lessons typically last one hour and combine discussion, retrieval practice, exam skills, model answers, and targeted feedback. I place a strong emphasis on helping students develop their writing, evaluation, and analytical skills, which are essential for success in Religious Studies.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies and currently teach Religious Education in a Catholic secondary school. Working with young people every day has given me valuable experience supporting students of different abilities and helping them reach their potential.
My lessons are suitable for:
Key Stage 3 students (Years 7–9)
GCSE Religious Studies students (Years 10–11)
Students looking to improve essay-writing and exam technique
Students who want to develop confidence in discussing and evaluating different viewpoints
Above all, I want students to enjoy learning. I am passionate about RE and believe it offers young people the opportunity to better understand themselves, others, and the diverse world they live in. It is a privilege to help students develop these skills and watch their confidence grow.

Perfect! My daughter (Year 10) had her first RE lesson with and she absolutely loved it! She came away feeling really positive and is already looking forward to her next session.
