About Laura
Hi, I’m Laura! I am an award-winning professional classical singer, teacher of 6 years and a recent graduate from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I held a scholarship.
My performance career thus far has spanned opera stages and concert platforms including; The Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican, Southwark Cathedral and Rochester Cathedral.
I have always taught alongside my career as a singer, and feel passionate about helping students feel confident in their voice, technically and artistically.
My students have gone on to gain choral scholarships at Oxford, places on prestigious junior departments, as well as land roles in opera productions.

My teaching is rooted in healthy vocal production, drawing on the Accent Method and Alexander Technique to build strong, sustainable voices.
Each lesson begins with a tailored full body warm-up to release tension, followed by a targeted vocal warm-up designed to develop core technical skills.
Once we are warmed up, I encourage students to bring repertoire they feel passionate about working towards. Working on repertoire gives us an opportunity to apply the technical work we have studied in the warm up.
Lessons follow each student's own goals, and we work collaboratively on the technique to reach them- students learn to identify what they're feeling, which lets me diagnose problems precisely from their own descriptions.
Unfortunately I am unable to offer free first lessons.

Perfect! My experience learning with Laura has been fantastic! Her lessons strike a great balance between physical warm ups, vocal warm ups and rehearsing songs. I especially appreciate how she helped me with my breath support and prepared me for my audition

- Hugo was a great student — really easy to work with, great energy and a lovely attitude. He came motivated and asked great questions throughout. Looking forward to our next lesson!Laura's response :
Perfect! I had my first virtual session with Laura today and although I wasn't sure what to expect, I got more from Laura than I had hoped for. She ran me through exercises which showed me where I could improve and gave me a great deal to work on. I felt energised and much more confident even after just one session, can't wait for the next.

I started lessons with Laura about six months ago as a complete beginner and I've been really impressed. She's patient and explains things clearly. I've noticed a real improvement in my confidence and technique. Would definitely recommend her to anyone thinking about learning to sing or get better.
My sessions with Laura were very helpful! She helped me prepare for a recital, and I could feel a real difference in my vocal techniques. She's super supportive and created a safe space for us to explore my voice comfortably. I am really glad to have her on my singing journey!
Laura is an amazing, kind and professional singing teacher. She listened openly to my needs and tailored lessons to these. Really look forward to each session, they have raised my confidence and voice projection immensely!
Laura is an incredible teacher, during my lessons, I feel I have progressed massively. This is thanks to her attentive and knowledgeable teaching. I especially enjoy the focus on helpful breathing techniques and support, which have been fundamental to my understanding and development.
Definitely Recommend, she was so helpful and friendly! Not to mention a good teacher,
Thank you :)She has high end knowledge and broad knowledge of music. It is a very pleasant and trustworthy service from her. Laura is friendly and calm and would be able to help and guide you to become an extraordinary singer. As she has first hand experience and has been taught by the royal college junior department over several years. I would highly highly recommend.
