About Mj
I am a passionate violinist who believes that learning music should be clear, enjoyable, and properly guided. I started teaching because I understand how confusing the violin can be when the fundamentals are not explained well, and I enjoy helping students build confidence from the very beginning. Over the years, I have gained practical experience through regular practice, performances, and teaching others. This has helped me understand common mistakes students make and how to correct them patiently and effectively. I focus on strong technique, good tone, and musical expression, while encouraging students to enjoy the learning process. My goal as a teacher is not just to help students play notes, but to help them truly understand the violin and grow into confident musicians. I am committed to creating a supportive and professional learning environment where every student can progress at their own pace.

My violin lessons are practical, well-structured, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I focus on building a strong foundation through correct posture, bow control, finger placement, tone production, and basic music theory. Lessons are taught step by step, using simple explanations, demonstrations, and guided practice to ensure steady improvement.
A typical lesson lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s preference and level. Each class includes warm-ups, technique exercises, repertoire practice, and clear assignments to work on before the next lesson.
I have several years of experience playing the violin and performing in church, events, and group settings. I understand the common challenges beginners and intermediate players face, and I teach with patience, encouragement, and clear direction.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, especially beginners and intermediate students who want to learn the violin properly, improve their technique, or play confidently for personal enjoyment, church, or performances.
