About Claire
I am a passionate violin tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals develop their musical skills and confidence. Throughout my journey as an educator, I have enjoyed working with students of different ages and backgrounds, guiding them toward their individual goals.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction. I believe that every student learns differently, so I create lessons that match their pace, interests, and learning style. I focus on building strong fundamentals while making learning enjoyable and motivating.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students improve their technique, musical expression, and overall confidence. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students who started with no experience become skilled and passionate violin players.
I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable growing and expressing themselves through music. My goal is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for music and help every student reach their full potential.

My approach to teaching combines compassion, communication, and personalized support. I believe that students learn best when they feel respected, motivated, and encouraged.
For violin instruction, I focus on posture, intonation, bow control, rhythm, and musical interpretation. I use simple explanations and practical examples to make lessons engaging and effective.
I maintain open communication with students and provide regular guidance to help them overcome difficulties. I celebrate progress and encourage students to remain patient and committed to their goals.
Besides violin, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight reading, ear training, and basic performance skills. These areas help students gain a deeper understanding of music.
My mission is to help students develop both musical ability and self-confidence.
