About Harrison
I am an 18-year-old student currently in my final year of college, and my ultimate career goal is to become a school teacher. I achieved a strong pass (Grade 6) in my GCSE Maths, which gives me a solid foundation to help younger students master the basics and build their confidence. I have valuable, hands-on experience working with SEND children. This has taught me how to adapt my communication, remain incredibly patient, and tailor my approach to suit different learning styles and needs. I chose to start tutoring now to gain further experience before entering the teaching profession. I strictly offer face-to-face lessons because I believe the best way to help a student learn—especially those who need a little extra encouragement—is by building a genuine bond and a comfortable, supportive environment in person. I am patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about helping primary and early secondary school pupils feel more capable in the classroom. I look forward to working together!

I offer patient and encouraging maths tutoring specifically for Primary school (KS1/KS2) and early secondary school (KS3) students. Because I am currently a 3rd-year college student who achieved a strong pass (Grade 6) in GCSE Maths, I know exactly what it feels like to struggle with tricky concepts and how to overcome them. My lessons are stress-free and tailored entirely to the student's individual pace. A typical 1-hour session includes: A friendly warm-up: Reviewing what they did in school this week to identify any problem areas. Core topic breakdown: Using clear, step-by-step examples to explain concepts like fractions, decimals, shapes, or basic algebra. Interactive practice: Working through problems together to build independent confidence. Homework help: Helping them wrap up school assignments without the stress.
I only offer face-to-face tutoring, as I believe being in the same room is the absolute best way to build a strong bond, keep lessons engaging, and boost a student's confidence.
