My lessons are aimed beginners of any age.
A typical beginner's lesson involves:
1. Technical work eg. how to play notes
2. Applying these skills to simple pieces
I offer both 30 minute and 1 hour lessons.
I will recommend the best books for beginners, and if needed can give advice on buying your first flute.
For more advanced players, I will do in-depth work with students on pieces, scales, and technique so that they can really hone their sound and feel confident in their playing.
I have completed all flute grades with merit/distinction, and can help students who are working towards exams.
