Patient and super friendly EFL/ESOL teacher available in Cardiff / South Wales to teach English from beginner to masterclass. Loves all things Italian.
Methodology
My teaching methodology is: goals, goals, goals. What do you want from this lesson, or this course? You tell me and I'll get you there. If you're going travelling, we'll build on the vocabulary, phrases and grammatical structures needed to survive or flourish - it's totally up to you! If you're applying to a UK university, for a UK-based job we'll tailor each lesson around your specific needs, and most importantly, you will learn by speaking, not by copying notes and repeating parrot fashion!
A typical lesson would involve a breakdown of your end-goals, introduction of new key language, comprehension checks, then plenty of exercises to get you speaking in a real-life context.
Experience
I have been teaching EFL since 2018 in Italy and have taught hundreds and hundreds of students, from beginner to masterclass, between the ages of 10 to 70+. This includes grammar lessons, conversation classes, revisions, oral exams and even a couple of fun acting workshops! My repertoire spans from individual lessons and small groups, to business English classes, and full-sized high school classes. I'm returning to the UK in August 2019 to pursue my PGCE qualification to further my teaching career.
I have a degree in Psychology and enjoy theatre, acting and of course, trying lots of different types of Italian food!
