Learning Spanish should feel engaging, supportive, and confidence-building. I offer personalised tutoring for students of all levels, helping them improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through clear explanations and interactive lessons. Whether you are preparing for GCSEs Spanish exams, or simply learning for personal interest, sessions are adapted to your goals and learning style.
My teaching focuses on building strong grammar foundations while developing natural communication skills and cultural understanding. I create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Lessons include conversation practice, vocabulary development, pronunciation support, and exam techniques to help students progress steadily and confidently.
With patience, structure, and enthusiasm for the language, I aim to make Spanish enjoyable and accessible while helping every student reach their full potential and achieve meaningful progress.

I saw Carole's profile on a Tutor website over fifteen years ago. At the time I was looking for somebody who was local to where I lived, to help me with my French. Carole is friendly, patient, professional and always tries to find subjects that are of interest, rather than just working from textbooks. I haven't got time to have lessons at the moment, but I would definitely like to again, in the future. Carole and I have stayed in touch and I hope we will continue to do so.
