About Dercio
I am a teaching assistant with experience supporting students of different abilities including those with SEN. I enjoy helping students build confidence and understanding through patient, one to one support.
I want to teach because I find it rewarding to help learners to overcome difficulties and reach # their potential. I particularly enjoy working individually with students, where I can tailor my approach to their needs and help them learn at their own pace in a calm and supportive environment.

I offer calm, structured and supportive lessons tailored to each student's individual needs. As a SEN teaching assistant I understand that every student has different needs and ways to work. My sessions focus on building confidence, improving understanding, and helping students feel more comfortable with their learning.
With my experience, I support a range of abilities such as SEN learners (ADHD and ASD for example) who may need additional patience, clear instructions and step by step guidance. This involves reading, writing, maths basics or general homework support.
My approach is patient and encouraging, creating a positive/safe environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I also help students develop routines, organisation skills, and independence in their learning.
Sessions can include:
-Homework support across subjects
-Reading and Comprehension practice
-Basic Maths Support
-SEN focused learning support
-Study skills and confidence building
I am available for online sessions and flexible during school holidays.
