I am a sports journalism graduate and early years SEN teaching assistant, who has a keen interest in helping young people feel prepared in what can be a stressful time. I want to make people feel ready and relaxed when it comes to primary education as well as making decisions for their future for those in secondary. Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor with a BA (Hons) degree and I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. I offer support in English, Maths and Reading for primary-aged children. My aim is to help every child build confidence, enjoy learning and reach their full potential in a relaxed and encouraging environment. I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs and learning style. Whether your child needs help with homework, improving their reading skills, strengthening their maths confidence or preparing for school assessments, I’ll work at a pace that helps them feel comfortable and successful. I’m passionate about helping children develop both their skills and their confidence, and I believe learning should be positive, engaging and rewarding. If you’re looking for a supportive tutor who will encourage your child every step of the way, I’d love to help.
