About Clare
I am a passionate violin tutor with 3 years of teaching experience and a track record of teaching around 150 students successfully. I provide violin lessons to learners of all levels and ages, helping each student grow in skill and musical understanding.
My tutoring approach is clear, encouraging, and flexible. I focus on technical fundamentals including posture, bow grip, finger placement, rhythm, and tone production. I create lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style.
I believe music should be both fun and motivating. I encourage regular practice and teach students how to structure their practice sessions effectively. I also celebrate each achievement, helping students stay confident and motivated.
One of my unique strengths is my patience and ability to break down difficult techniques into simple, practical steps. I also emphasize musical expression alongside technical accuracy.
Along with violin instruction, I teach music theory, sight-reading, scales, and ear training. I help students prepare for exams, competitions, and performances. My aim is to nurture confident, disciplined, and passionate violin players.

My goal is to nurture creativity, skill, and a lifelong passion for music.
