About Yara
I am a committed violin tutor with 14+ years of experience, having guided around 300 students across different levels, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy is based on consistency, clear instruction, and steady growth, as I believe these are essential for learning music successfully.
I focus on building a strong base by teaching posture, bowing technique, finger positioning, and tone clarity. I also include exercises and songs that make lessons engaging and easy to follow. I guide students on how to practice effectively so they can improve outside of lessons.
One of my proud achievements is helping students perform with confidence and develop a strong interest in violin. My aim is to create a positive and motivating learning experience.

My violin teaching methodology combines clear communication, adaptability, and practical learning experiences. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, abilities, and goals to ensure both technical and expressive skills are developed effectively.
I focus on posture, bowing technique, fingering, tone, intonation, phrasing, and expressive playing while fostering creativity and personal interpretation. Lessons include real-life examples such as performing favorite songs, learning with accompaniment, and understanding music’s emotional impact.
I also teach supporting subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic keyboard skills to strengthen overall musicianship. My aim is to create a structured, supportive, and inspiring environment where students gain confidence, progress steadily, and develop a lifelong passion for music.
