About Molly
I don’t have any experience of teaching but I am a performing arts student at college and have been acting since I was 7. I believe I can help children to be excited by what they’re reading and feel more confident when reading aloud

My teaching method is asking students what books they want to read and then taking it in turn for me to read a paragraph/page to them and them to read a page/paragraph to me. I really loved being read to as a child so I really hope that doing this for my students will inspire them to want to read on their own and also want to read aloud. For children struggling with reading certain words we’ll break them down phonetically so they can figure out what the word is then we’ll come up with a clever way of remembering it for next time. We’ll also talk through the meaning of words that children are unsure of!
