About Emilija
I’m a British Fencing registered Level 2 Foil Coach with over a decade of experience in the sport and 5 years of professional coaching.
Currently, I coach at Newham Swords and Knightsbridge Fencing Clubs in London. I began fencing at the age of 11 and achieved my personal best result when I became the Women’s U23 British Champion at just 14.
I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am trained in Safeguarding and First Aid, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all fencers.

Emilija is one of talented coaches at the fencing club my daughter has been attending for the last 2 years. Emilija is patient, approachable and reliable, and explains and demonstrates in a way which my (then 7) now 9 year old understands. Emilija has also coached me in the adult lessons and as a complete beginner I found her fencing lessons structured and clear, very often giving me tips and pointers where my technique/posture was poor. Highly recommend!
