About Matthew

Have you ever felt frustrated while creating, or lost sight of why you started? Think of me as your musical co-pilot — here to help you reconnect with your direction and move forward.

Learning to be playful with music while continuing to grow, even through challenges, is essential to any musical path — whether as a hobby, on stage, in practice, or within the industry. I understand both the creative and practical sides of the journey, and I believe play sits at the heart of it all.

Having grown up around professional musicians and later studying and working in music myself, I bring experience, perspective, and real-world insight to every lesson. Share your goals and your musical ambitions — and let’s get started.

About the lesson

I offer structured, goal-focused lessons in songwriting, music production (Ableton), guitar, live performance and music business.

Each session is tailored to your level, from complete beginners to developing artists, with clear step-by-step guidance and practical exercises.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and focus on building real skills — writing songs, producing tracks, improving technique and gaining confidence. With over 15 years of professional and international experience, plus a degree in Songwriting and Performance, I provide supportive, results-driven tuition designed to help you progress quickly and confidently.
