About Madeleine
I have seen the bad side of health when you don’t look after your body, I have seen the transformation when you begin to take care of our health and I have felt myself the peace and perspective yoga has brought to my life. With that said, I love coaching others to feel healthy and able to feel in control of their whole body/mind health. I love incorporating neuroscience knowledge with yogic science to invest confidence in the health of my students

I am trained in traditional hatha yoga and philosophy - with the knowledge of alignment, breath and meditation to feel calm and reap the benefits specific to yoga as opposed to any other form of exercise. I also have a science-based training in anatomy, therapeutic yoga and yin yoga. Yin yoga is focused on the health of the bones, fascia, and joints as opposed to vinyasa which is a largely muscular practice. Yin yoga is a very healing practice for your whole health of central nervous system and mind. It acts as a massage you give to yourself, massaging the tissues, releasing the knots and freeing your mobility. With my 1-2-1 classes I can build a class incorporating lots of different styles of yoga, philosophy, breath and meditation to help you feel healthy, peaceful and confident in your body healing the body inside out.

Madeleine is really calm and sensitive teacher. She builds in appropriate levels of challenge but also is flexible and responsive to your individual needs. She makes you feel confident and you leave her class feeling great.
Madeleine is a well qualified and very proficient teacher. I have had private lessons with her and she was very thorough. She tailored the sessions to my needs and took care to make sure I was doing every pose correctly. She also made the sessions varied and interesting.
Madeleine is an amazing yoga teacher!! Not only is she great at teaching the movement, but she also explains the knowledge behind it and why we are doing it. I have done several 1-1 classes with her and I always leave feeling so relaxed. I suffer with muscle tightness as a result of going to the gym and Madeleine has taught me how to help relieve this pain. I cannot recommend her enough. She is amazing.
