About Hagos
I believe in the power of personalized support and active involvement in learning. My 9-year-old son has consistently ranked among the top in his class, which I attribute to the positive learning environment I foster at home. I take an active role in his education, helping him understand concepts and guiding him through challenges. This experience has greatly influenced my approach to tutoring. I have always been passionate about natural sciences and excelled academically. I completed high school at a boarding school focused on natural sciences, which prepared me for engineering. I earned my BSc in Biological and Chemical Engineering, followed by three years as an assistant lecturer. I then pursued an MSc in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering and worked as a lecturer until starting my PhD at Auburn University last fall. Throughout my academic journey, I have loved math and natural sciences and gained teaching and tutoring experience, including tutoring community students during my BSc.
