About Alastair
I have many years of experience as a professional musician playing for dance companies as well as arranging and creating music for performances, including a production at the Royal Ballet School, London. Currently I work as a repetiteur at Stuttgart Ballet, in Germany. I have appeared, and recorded music for film as well as played in numerous productions on stage.

I offer a broad-based approach to music theory, harmony and composition. I can help with theory or entrance exam preparations, as well as guide the student in learning the basics of harmony: chord sequences, also how to pick out the chords of your favourite songs. I have taught at all levels from beginner to university students.
Lessons are typically 45 - 55 minutes but can be as long (or short) as the student feels they need.

Alastair and I were neighbors and became fast musical friends. He is a fantastic piano player and played for the Ballet Academy in Covent Garden, London and the Stuttgardt Ballet, for many years. What he can't teach you about music and composing must surely be highly irrelevant.
