My teaching methods will depend on each student and their needs. I am flexible and can offer proof reading and editing for essays and lab reports (including checking statistical/experimental methods). I can also offer the same for longer pieces of work (dissertations and theses).
I have a PhD from the University of Cambridge in Psychology and Behavioural sciences.
I have published my research in three peer reviewed publications.
I also have a First Class BSc from the University of Bristol in Experimental Psychology, and won the Routh Prize for outstanding achievement in Advanced Research Methods and Statistics.
I have a wealth of teaching experience at several levels, including teaching research methods in social psychology to 2nd year undergraduates at Cambridge, and am familiar with the curriculum.

Tess proofread my psychology dissertation last year. She improved it immeasurably - I am extremely grateful for her help. She picked up on small details that I wouldn’t have noticed, and helped improve my language / wording to make my points clearer. She also went through my statistics and analysis to make sure it was correct. Overall, I would recommend Tess to anyone looking to improve their work!
Tess is a wonderful tutor. She saw me through my Maths GCSE! She was kind, positive, highly organised and patient. Her tutoring was very clear and concise, she always knew exactly where we were in the syllabus and our goals for the next lesson. If you want a driven and caring tutor, you should definitely contact Tess!
Tess tutored me in maths during our studies together at school and sixth form and it's because of her that I passed my maths GCSE! She helped me build confidence in my exam technique, she carefully structured sessions and gave me relevant homework to pinpoint what I needed to focus on. She's highly organised, clear and dedicated - I really can't recommend her enough!
