About Mohamed
I am Mohamed Abou Zeid, an Egyptian Oud player, teacher and university professor. I hold a PhD and a Master’s degree in Arabic Oud from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. I have extensive experience performing and teaching the Oud and Arabic music. I am also the founder of Egybadour, an Egyptian-French musical team. I have taught students of different ages and levels and performed in concerts and musical events in Egypt and abroad. My goal is to share the beauty of Arabic Oud and music through professional, practical and enjoyable lessons.

Learn to play the Arabic Oud with a professional Egyptian Oud teacher and university professor holding a PhD in Oud. My online lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. We will work on Oud technique, Risha (plectrum) technique, Arabic Maqamat, improvisation (Taqsim), rhythm and traditional Arabic music pieces. Each lesson is personalized according to your level, goals and musical interests. Whether you are starting from zero or looking to improve your technique and understanding of Arabic music, I will guide you step by step in a clear and practical way.
