About Vismaya
I am a physics educator with a PhD in physics and a strong research background in nanomagnetism. My academic training and research experience have provided me with a deep, structured understanding of physics, enabling me to explain complex concepts with clarity and precision. I approach teaching with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. I have taught undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (MSc) students, working with advanced topics that require conceptual depth and analytical thinking. This experience enables me to break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and tailor explanations to different learning levels. My teaching is systematic, exam-aware, and focused on helping students develop confidence in applying concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I focus on building a strong conceptual understanding by simplifying complex Physics topics into clear, logical steps rather than relying on rote memorization. I use visual explanations, real-world examples, and guided problem-solving to help students truly understand concepts. My classes are interactive and adapted to the students’ curriculum and learning pace, with emphasis on exam-focused practice, time management, and avoiding common mistakes.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, and can be extended to 90 minutes for revision or exam preparation. Each session typically includes a brief recap, an explanation of the concept, practice problems, and dedicated time for clearing doubts, ensuring steady progress, and building confidence.
I hold a PhD in Physics and have taught and mentored students at various levels of education. My academic and research background enables me to explain physics in depth while keeping it accessible and engaging for school students.
My lessons are designed for high school/secondary school students, aged approximately 14–18, who follow CBSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and IB curricula. I work with students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, improve exam performance, and develop long-term confidence in Physics.
