About Kolade
I was a Lecturer II in my country from 2012 to 2015 before coming to UK for my PhD programme.
University Students: they are many as I have taught a class of 20, 30, 60 students.
One on one at A level: I have taught one student and she passed her OCR Exam with a 'C' despite the few period we had the lessons. She took a private tutor because she did not like Mathematics, she later gained confidence in answering questions after few lessons.

My name is Kolade Olanipekun, a researcher in the Dynamics Group, ISVR, Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, University of Southampton, UK. I have taught a student Mathematics and Statistics at AS level in the year 2017. I have also helped as a Teaching Assistant in my current School to teach undergraduate students a module named Dynamics.
I am very focused and try to stimulate the interest of the students in the subject. This can be done by giving them opportunity to try some few basic exercises and see how far they can go. This actually gives them confidence when they were well taught and encouraged that they can finish the exercise. Even if it is only a step they can write from the beginning, they will be aspiring to finish it and they will be determined. Also, I usually encourage them to do some assignments and make sure they enjoy doing them after each lesson.
