About Asmita
I am an Assistant Professor of Statistics, with a PhD in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and prior research experience as a Research Associate at AIIMS, Delhi. My expertise spans inference, Bayesian inference, lifetime data analysis, and regression models, along with extensive work in clinical trials, meta-analysis, and advanced statistical modeling. Teaching is my passion. I believe every student can master statistics when it is explained with clarity and patience. My goal is to make complex topics simple, engaging, and directly useful for your studies or research. I focus on building not just subject knowledge, but also confidence in applying statistics to real-world problems. I teach statistics and biostatistics in a simple, practical, and student-focused way. My approach is to break down complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations, supported by real-life research examples. I use interactive problem-solving and software demonstrations (SPSS, R, Python) to help you connect theory with application.
A typical lesson starts with a quick recap, followed by concept explanation, worked examples, and then applying the ideas to real research or exam-style questions. Each session ends with practice problems and feedback so you feel confident.
