About Dario

Hi,

My name is Dario, I am a PhD student in Computer Science at Manchester University. I am originally from Italy, but have lived in the UK continuosly for over five years and done my entire university studies in Computer Science at Sheffield University and Manchester University. I have then worked in technology as a software engineer for over a year before returning to research.

I have been tutoring students online and in person for over three years, and helped dozens of students excel in their studies. I am familiar with the syllabus and requirements for all major courses (Computer Science, Computing, ICT, Programming, etc.) at all levels (GCSE, A-Levels, International Baccalaureate and Undergraduate/Postgraduate University Studies).

About the lesson

Feel free to get in touch with me, I am more than happy to arrange a free 15 minute "meet the tutor" session. You can then tell me what you'd like help with, whether it's revising a particular topic, developing your writing skills for exam questions or just getting some extra help throughout the year.

What you can expect from tutorials with me:

Concise, clear explanations: You will end each tutorial confident in your understanding of the topic. You will be able to answer related exam questions, apply concepts in coursework assignments and see how different topics fit in the greater picture.

A tailored program: Whether you want to spend time revising a particular topic, practicing exam questions or discussing a particular topic more in depth, tutorials will be designed to suit your needs.

An hands on approach: At the end of each tutorial, I will send you further material to practice and revise the material covered. Ahead of the following tutorial, I will then correct your work and provide useful feedback. This can take the form of written questions, past papers, programming assignments, etc.
