About Joao Carlos
I am a Historian, graduated from the Federal University of Paraná in Curitiba, Brazil. During my academic journey, I worked as an intern in a museum, a library, and in academic research at the same university. These experiences strengthened my skills in historical analysis, research, and education.
Although my main academic background is in History, I am also able to teach Portuguese. I have experience engaging in meaningful conversations with people, especially non-native speakers, and can adapt my teaching style to their learning needs. My goal is to make learning both informative and enjoyable, whether we are exploring historical topics or developing language skills.

First of all to teach the pronunciation of the letters of the alphabet, to present the fact that the Portuguese language is spread across countries all over the world, however, my accent is Brazilian. Then, present pronouns, verbs, grammar questions and so on. Always bearing in mind questions involving reading, writing, speaking and listening, along with the student's personal wishes and what he aims for. In addition, it is necessary to perform many exercises to fix the content passed during the class.
