About Taoues
I am currently a PhD student in the field of Linguistics at Manchester Metropolitan University. My topic of research is about gender representation in media discourse. I have a Bachelor's Degree in 'Linguistics and English for Specific Purposes' and a 'Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Social Semiotics'. I also completed a 6-months programme in English language and PhD research skills before starting my PhD. I am a multilingual speaker who is fond of languages. The languages that I speak are Tamazight/Berber (mother tongue), Arabic, French and English. I am happy to offer lessons in Arabic which is my second language and the first official language in my home country which is Algeria.
