About Gomi
As a Spanish tutor with 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping High School and College students develop strong language skills through personalised and engaging instruction. I understand that each student has different learning preferences and academic goals, so I carefully adapt my teaching methods to meet their individual needs. My focus is on creating lessons that are practical, motivating, and easy to understand.
I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish using a balanced combination of structured lessons and interactive activities. Instead of memorising rules alone, students learn how to apply Spanish in real-life situations through discussions, role-playing, and practical examples. This approach helps students retain knowledge more effectively and gain confidence in using the language naturally.
One of my greatest strengths is building positive relationships with students. I believe trust and encouragement are essential for successful learning. I provide regular feedback, celebrate progress, and help students overcome challenges with patience and understanding. My lessons are always designed to keep students motivated while steadily improving their language abilities.
I also introduce cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries to make learning more meaningful and enjoyable. Understanding culture allows students to appreciate the language beyond textbooks and communicate with greater confidence and awareness.

Time management is a key part of my approach, so each lesson is well-structured to balance grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice while keeping students comfortable and motivated. I also provide guidance on self-study and efficient practice techniques.
