About Amira
I am passionate about helping students to reach their potential, working at the student's pace, and developing their understanding of literature. I also hope to nurture students' love of literature beyond the curriculum; this is something that helped me with my GCSE and A-level qualifications in English Language/ English Literature. I know how important it is to have a teacher/ tutor who believes in your potential, and I hope to provide this to students during lessons. I look forward to tailoring lessons to each individual student during one-to-one sessions. This could include discussing how the student feels they learn best and the areas/ skills in English language/ English literature they struggle with the most.

My classes are led by the student. We will speak about the areas they would like to focus on, and I will adjust the sessions accordingly. I am patient, and I work at the student's pace. I am always happy to make changes to the lessons if the student has any additional needs. Lessons will typically be an hour long. I have worked for the educational recruitment agency Choice Teachers, and so I have some classroom experience. I also received training in how to manage classroom behaviour. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE English Language, a grade 9 in GCSE English Literature, and a grade A in A-level English Literature. Lessons would be suitable for Primary School students, GCSE students and A-level students.
