About Amy
My name is Amy. I am a recent graduate from the University of Nottingham gaining a 2:1 degree in Philosophy. I have 3 years' worth of teaching swimming so am adequate in my skills to teach and have now moved towards expanding my skills towards academic teaching. I am happy to use techniques that individual students find helpful, and expand on these as the weeks go on introducing new techniques from a University level to a GCSE and A-Level focus.

I take a focus on learning how to develop and apply the knowledge learnt in the classroom. I will look at how you can craft essays with a structure that is easy to follow and apply to all humanities subjects. A particular focus on the use of critical analysis allowing students to elevate their grades without the need to develop their knowledge beyond what they have learnt in the classroom.
