It is said that the best teacher is one who is only a few steps ahead of you. As a final year Undergraduate student, I am well aware of the difficulties A Level students face. I am also well versed in strategies to overcome hurdles to learning since I consistently employ these in my own studies. I strongly maintain that the manner in which one is taught dramatically affects information retention and interest in the subject.
I will work with any students up to, and including, A2 Level working together to find a style that works for the individual. I am happy to do home visits, or to meet in a suitable place in town; I personally study best in a cafè so I am open to a variety of study spaces.
I look forward to working together.
I've worked assisting lecturers in Philosophy for both GCSE and A Level students at my University. This involved working with small groups as well as tutoring students individually.
I worked with a homeschooled student for several years taking him for Philosophy classes once a week. This involved creating lesson plans, directing study, providing homework and developing personally as an effective teacher.
I work within a study group in which we teach one another, and I pride myself on my ability to relay complex concepts accessibly.
