About Solly
My name is Solly and I am a university student studying Jazz. I have two passions philosophy and music, and I love sharing these with other students. I believe the most effective tuition comes from sharing a passion and lively conversation rather than setting repetitive exercises.

I believe philosophy is best taught in a conversational manner, and I enjoy helping students find their own way to engage with and approach the subject. Having recently completed A-level to A* standard I understand what exam boards are looking for, but I work with students to reach that level their own way, whether you work best through conversation, note taking or any other form of learning I’m here to help in any way! Philosophy should be about discovery, imagination and debate rather than memorising large tracts of texts. I help my students find their passion for the subject and have fun with it - and good grades will come naturally.
