About Henry

I am a working photographer/digital artist whose work ranges from capturing huge events such as Henley Royal Regatta and the Platinum Jubilee. These works have been shown in a wide variety of locations that have included Heathrow Airport, London Bridge Railway Station and the Royal Albert Hall. My exhibitions partners among others have included Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Sony, Adobe, HP, Ultimaker and MBP. I am equally happy shooting with a 50mp digital camera or a 100-year-old box camera as both need exactly the same skills, a good understanding of composition and lighting.

About the lesson

Every student is different and my courses always start with identifying where you are now and where you want to be in the future. Essentially what I teach is how to make your work successfully communicate the ideas and narratives behind them. This is often a question of understanding how composition or lighting either in camera or through digital manipulation can help you get your message across.
