Neil was recommended to us and taught my son chemistry and physics to O level. He is a fun, approachable teacher who makes complex and difficult topics easier to understand and helped him prepare revision flash cards. This has given my son greater confidence and I recommend him and will use him again to assist my daughter in a couple of years.

Neil is a fantastic teacher and a good friend who tirelessly dedicates his time to helping others. After personally tutoring 20+ students in a university module we were all unfamiliar in free of charge, my respect for Neil has only grown. His teaching style is calm, collected and unyielding (in a good way). He sets targets for his students to go and achieve post session to broaden their understanding of the subject and is happy to try multiple approaches to the subject to suit the individual learning needs of the student.

His personal knowledge is vast in an array of subjects and his passion for teaching is obvious to all around him. He is calm, approachable and friendly to all and never condescending, merely adjusting his teaching style to suit any student and ensure the best learning experience.

He is a very reliable friend and whilst at university was always available to help with anything he can. He would always be patient and accommodating to make sure the topic was understood properly.
He was also very helpful with running revision sessions for the members of the Physics Society, which he lead and provided guidance to supplement the teaching of the course.

Neil was able to tutor me in preparation for my Maths and English exams whilst at University. He was able to guide me through my exams making me feel more confident to sit them. Neil was very happy to pick times as and when I needed them. Neil helped me pass my exams and then went on to help me with my assignments. He has a sound knowledge of the English language when it comes to written assessments. He also demonstrates a sound knowledge in his specialised area. I find math particularly difficult but Neil finds alternative ways to explain the content and has a great deal of patience with his students. After his tutoring we have stayed in contact and are now very good friends. Neil is a very likeable guy and has an approachable and confident personality. Would definitely recommend Neil to other who need tutoring.

Neil has been a close friend to me for several years and has always helped support me, whether it was academically or emotionally. Neil is a highly intelligent and naturally gifted person and in all honesty a rare talent and true gem. I cannot commend him highly enough, he is inspirational, hard working and gifted.
