Thomas has a wonderful enthusiasm for learning and sharing his knowledge with others. He is incredibly hard-working and has excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Thomas has good pedagogical knowledge and understands that in order to facilitate pupils' acquisition of knowledge, the learning opportunity must build upon prior knowledge; fostering pupils to make connections to strengthen their schema. He also comprehends the necessity for learning to be differentiated in terms of task, representation or depth for pupils' specific level and needs. Thomas holds high expectations for all his pupils and recognizes the importance of encouraging authentic engagement and enjoyment from the learner. Thomas is approachable and an active listener; readily answering questions in a caring and clear manner.
