About Matthew
My name is Matt Hesketh and I have been teaching Physics for 42 years. Despite previously being a senior member of staff I have always taught over allocation as I love teaching Physics and making the subject come alive. I like to tell the stories behind Physics concepts and the history of discoveries and make learning relevant to today's society.

My students find my approach very personable and I have had excellent feedback. I strive to find out areas that students have difficulty understanding then break down the concepts into smaller learning tasks. I then move onto applying their learning to exam style questions. I also focus heavily on examination technique teaching strategies which are applicable to all topics
