About Jake
I have years of experience as both a testing tutor and TA for college courses, so I know what it takes to be a good teacher... But I was also in high school just a few years ago, so I remember how it feels to be in your shoes!

In my lessons, I teach concrete mathematical skills along with helpful mnemonics to help my students to think critically about physics/math problems. A typical lesson will start with a Q&A style discussion of concepts relevant to the student's learning plan, followed by practice problems which I hand-pick to target their specific strengths and weaknesses. I am also open to adapting this format to whatever suits their particular needs.
