About Bruce
I have 9 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Applied Physics. My fascination with Physics began through studying how scientific principles influence technology, engineering, and everyday life. Teaching allows me to share that fascination while helping students overcome academic challenges.
My teaching style emphasises clarity, patience, and adaptability. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained logically and supported through meaningful practice. Every lesson is designed to encourage confidence and independent thinking.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring developments in renewable energy, advanced materials, and scientific innovation. These interests help me bring real-world relevance into lessons and keep learning engaging. Helping students gain confidence and discover their potential remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Physics lessons focus on helping students understand the scientific principles that explain the world around them. We cover mechanics, electricity, magnetism, energy systems, waves, optics, and modern physics through practical examples and structured explanations. I aim to make challenging concepts easier to understand while strengthening analytical thinking.
Each lesson combines theoretical understanding with guided problem-solving activities. Students learn how to interpret physical situations, apply scientific reasoning, and solve questions systematically. Difficult topics are broken down into manageable sections that support confidence and long-term understanding.
I create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas. Consistent feedback and personalised guidance help learners make steady progress. My goal is to help students build strong Physics foundations while developing confidence in their abilities.
