About Joseph
I am an A-Level student with a Grade 8 in piano and a Grade 7 in music theory, preparing for music conservatoire. I take a professional and pragmatic approach to teaching and am deeply passionate about all styles of music—including film music, pop/rock, and jazz—with a particular focus on classical music and performance.

I offer standard face-to-face piano and music theory lessons at an hourly rate of £24 with a steady and thorough approach to teaching music. I am patient and experienced with both children and adult learners, with a strong focus on developing my students’ overall musicality and enjoyment of music. I place high priority on adapting my teaching approach to each individual student, working with him/her to make lessons both enjoyable and productive.
I am responsive and flexible with my teaching arrangements whilst trying to maintain consistent weekly lessons.

Joseph is an excellent tutor. I find him patient, understanding and easy to work with. Each lesson is planned according to my ability. He communicates clearly and doesn’t mind me contacting him between lessons if I need to. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
He is great at teaching. I like him.
Joseph is a gifted young pianist with an unusual ability to communicate his love of the piano, and enthusiasm for the arts in general. As a student of mine for several years I recommend him as an inspirational teacher for all Grade levels.
Joseph is a friendly natural communicator, logical in his reasoning, genuinely passionate about music and persevering in his piano studies, soon to expand into composition... You should be in good hands studying with him.
