About Salvador
I see myself as a passionate and hardworking musician with years of performance and teaching experience. I have a great appreciation for all arts in general and an extensive knowledge in music theory, as well as in all types of musical genres other than classical (jazz, electronic, rock, punk, etc).
I was born in Spain, although at age 16 I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, to study in St. Mary's Music School. There I spent three years, after which I moved to London, to study in Royal College of Music, where I studied Joint Principal Study Piano and Composition, graduated with distinction, and I am now finish my last years of Masters in Piano.
I have performed many solo recitals around Europe, in places that include Estonia, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy... as well as having performed complete concertos with orchestra. Over the course of 5 years I have taught students of all ages, many of which obtained great marks in ABRSM exams and similar level exams or auditions.

It all starts by establishing a good relationship with the student, understanding the needs of each individual student and adapting your method to it and most importantly, to always support the student to be the best version of themselves.
I like to focus on musical aspects as well as technical aspects of piano playing. It is essential to obtain a flawless technique to be able to express all ideas musically. Each student will develop an individual way of thinking about the music that they want to play, my only input will be to help them identify the musical means hidden within a score, interpret them and finally to be able to perform them.
