About Ruth
I'm a musician, pianist and music therapist with over 20 years of experience working with people to find their musical voice. I love teaching piano and believe that learning an instrument can bring a lot of joy and satisfaction. I am classically trained and also enjoy improvising. I enjoy the balance of supporting my students to develop their technical abilities, whilst they also grow in their ability to express themselves. I enjoy working both with students who have clear goals and aspirations and those who want to play purely for fun and relaxation. For all of my students I am keen to support them to get the most out of their lessons and learning.
