About Nick
I have been teaching music for more than 50 years and have a global reputation with a strong online presence as well as a very busy client base of students I teach 1:1, face-to-face. As well as Piano and keyboards, I teach Guitar, Bass, Harmonica and 5-string Banjo. I also play bass guitar in a local band on a fairly regular basis.

I take an individual approach to teaching each student. My goal, above all, is to help make the process enjoyable. Your syllabus will be tailored to help you move towards your music-learning goals in the most efficient way possible. I will help you learn the musical style that most inspires you. Whether it is Pop, Rock, Country, Blues, Boogie, Jazz or Classical. We will decide together on a balance of Practical, Technical and Theory elements to suit your personal strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes. For adults and children over 11, I generally recommend lessons of 1 Hour duration. Younger children often make better progress with half-hour lessons. I offer a choice of weekly, fortnightly or ad-hoc scheduling depending on current availability. I teach from my fully-equipped home studio from Monday-Fridays.
