About Rachel
I have a huge passion for teaching and really enjoy watching students grow and be able to feel inspired whilst learning the piano. Through my years of both performing and teaching experience, I have built up the necessary skills and qualities of a successful piano teacher. Southeast London-based.

I have an undergraduate degree in piano performance from Leeds Conservatoire and a master's degree in musical direction from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts so I am well qualified to teach piano to students of any type of piano ability. I have lots of experience teaching piano in formal school-type settings as well as private teaching. I aim to create a comfortable environment for all my students with no added pressure. The main thing for me is that all of my students feel inspired and gain enjoyment through making music. Lessons are usually half an hour or an hour.
