About Marc
Learning how to play an instrument should be fun. Learning music shouldn't be any different to learning your first language. No one asks a baby to learn all the grammar and vocabulary before being allowed to talk to an adult.
Quite the opposite, the baby is encouraged to talk (jam) with the adults, is encouraged to make mistakes, to try things.
Music learning should be the same. My method is based on learning how to play what you really want to play and guiding you on how to express yourself with an instrument. It shouldn't be about learning all of the scales and their different modes - that can come later once you're hooked to playing. Or it won't come at all, maybe you're just happy to just "feel" how music works. And that's alright too.
