About Neil
I am fully DBS checked and can provide references from past piano playing students if this is something you'd feel comfortable with. When I'm not teaching, I play the piano (and keyboards / synth) in a function band, performing at weddings, parties and commercial events. I also play musical background music at weddings as well as performing entry and exit music for the bride and groom.

I'm looking forward to working with you, or your child, as you prepare for many years of enjoyable piano playing ahead. I love playing contemporary pieces as well as the more traditional piano classics, so whichever path you choose is entirely up to you. I will ensure our lessons together are fun whilst we work towards achieving your musical goals. I prepare for both Trinity College and ABRSM exams; first lessons are always reduced by 50% so you can satisfy yourself that I'm the right tutor for you. Lessons typically range from 30 mins for younger pupils to an hour and my speciality is with adult and child beginners. I love being at the start of your journey. I am a primary school - and more recently independent prep school - teacher and have produced and directed musical performances across a range of schools in Cambs, Herts and Essex. I have been teaching the piano for many years now and am now focusing on this as my main source of work.
