About Billye

Experienced players who want to sharpen their skills are the people I teach most often. Having taught 104 students, I know how to break down lead guitar and electric technique into manageable steps.

My Bachelor of Music from the Royal College of Music gives me the tools to explain complex barre chords clearly. I also cover strumming patterns and smooth chord transitions. I keep my approach flexible so you never feel stuck in a rigid box. I focus on making the mechanics of the instrument feel intuitive rather than overwhelming.

About the lesson

Starting out, it might feel a bit daunting to navigate the fretboard, but we will find your footing quickly. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and discuss exactly what you want to achieve. My 7 years of experience inform how I break down lead guitar parts and strumming patterns to fit your current ability. I find that when we identify the precise technical hurdle, the music becomes much easier to play.

You will see how my background helps me clarify those tricky electric technique shifts. If you are ready to refine your playing, I am here to help you get there.
