About Robbie
I have competed in official Pokémon tournaments for 5+ years. One of my most frequent hobbies is deck building, and several of these decks have helped me place in tournaments. On top of my experience playing the game, I have collected Pokémon cards for 15+ years. Apart from Pokémon, I have teaching experience as an online instructor at a STEM-focused camp. In this position, I created my own lesson material and taught students ages 10-17 years old how to code games and AI programs. My passion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game is one that is tough to beat. To show others how to play the game and do outstanding at tournaments means the world to me.

All lessons will use the Pokémon Trading Card Game LIVE and/or Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket applications. Both are free to download and play on various smart devices.
While there are no age or education requirements for these lessons, there are age ratings for the applications involved (9 years or older for LIVE, and 4 years or older for Pocket).
Lessons span from learning the basics to mastering gameplay, strategies, deck building, and more.
For beginners:
- We will first go through how to play the game piece-by-piece for a better understanding when we put it all together and start playing full matches.
For those who know the basics:
- We will focus on deck building and strategies by analyzing highly successful decks used in global-scale tournaments and practicing with them – as well as other example decks – in matches.
- Lessons about creative deck building are offered for those who like to think “outside the box” and create their own decks from scratch.

- I have years of experience playing in official Pokémon tournaments, and even more years of experience playing the game online.
