i have taught a variety of ages ranging up to A Level standard. i prefer to start sessions with a reflection and a small test on what they learnt the week before by asking them to recite key words. then go on to teach them what is in line for that week. dependent on the age of the child i will ask them to do a small amount of work so i can track their progress and understand what is needed to do to help them to improve.
i am a policing student currently studying at degree level. i have tutored children in preparation for examinations and it has helped their grades improve and achieve in their exams. i like to teach my students by using visual aids as i feel it allows them to remember information easier.
