I tend to approach each class or topic by giving a real world problem and then, allow the student to bounce ideas about what you could do to mitigate it. This method works well for those who struggle to understand the thought process behind maths however, the lesson can be tailored depending on the students needs.
I am a student, I have done my Maths GCSE and received a Grade 9 with 90%. I help in my schools learning support with Maths tutoring GCSE students, and have helped a child who missed two terms of school to catch up with their maths. I am happy to help children of all ages from ks1 to GCSE as well as those who may have difficulty learning and applying maths.
As I am not a driver, I have to cycle to clients, thus the hourly rate for a "home visit" is £12 / hour.
